I was trying to get back to Houston and it was 3:00 p.m. on Monday, Feb 9th, my check engine light came on. I had called another repair shop to see if they could take a look at my car, and he said no, it was too late in the day and I wouldn't find anyone to check my car. I was on my phone, and found the number for C&R Autowerx, and called them. The guy answering the phone said sure come on in and he could put it on the computer and check to see why the check engine light was on. After checking the computer, he raised the hood and said, "I see the issue" it was within 10 secs of him opening the hood, he could see the wiring for the spark plug had been chewed through by a rodent. He called his boss and told him the issue and his boss was headed back to the shop and would see what he could do as soon as he got back. The owner arrived and within 10 minutes told me he had the new part that needed to be replaced and he could splice it into the old wiring. By 4:30 p.m., my car was fixed and I was headed to Houston.
